The Homer Youth String Orchestra Club is dedicated to giving all children the opportunity to have their lives enriched with music. Without a strings program in the local schools, our club offers the only opportunity for string ensemble instruction and performance in the Homer area. We have three groups this year totaling 19 students ages 6-17. Students rehearse once a week through the school year and have opportunities to perform in various venues in the community.
The Homer Youth String Orchestra Club is a volunteer organization and is supported by fundraisers such as these. All contributions go directly to benefit the students enrolled in the Homer Youth String Orchestra Club. With your contribution we can continue to provide enrichment opportunities like workshops and scholarship to our members.
Please help us instill the love
of music in our children.
